Progress and Field Day

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

Significant progress was made this last weekend, all launcher KITS have shipped. The assembled launchers in this batch are nearing completion and will be shipped in a few days after testing and packing.

Only one batch of launchers will be scheduled in June due to Field Day and other calendar items, and orders through June 5 will be included in that batch. Orders after June 5 will go into the July batch.

Thanks for your patience,

Field Day

Monday, May 28th, 2007

This has been a busy weekend cutting and cementing, and we will be shipping a lot of product this coming week. So we have removed the ‘out of stock’ indications on the assembled launchers and they can now be ordered…

Field Day is FAST approaching! Launchers for Field Day must be ordered by June 5 at the latest! Even at that, any assembled launchers will be on a tight schedule for pre-FD delivery. KITS ARE FASTER to order. If you really get on it you can build a kit in one day. It does not take all day, but some time is required for cement drying. Allowing 2 or 3 days to build a kit is much better planning.

The June 5th batch of launchers will probably be the last one until after Field Day.

Thanks for your patience!

Returned from Hamvention

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

We had a good time at Hamvention. We had a good crowd at the table all evening at FDIM Vendor night, and had visits from customers while we were helping out at the Buddipole booth, also while walking around at Hamvention and even at the Hotel.

This coming weekend is the ‘Big Push’. We will be cutting a lot of plastic, and try to catch up a bit. We would really like to go to the Seaside Hamfest the following weekend but have been gone too much, and have another conflict, so we will put Seaside on the list for next year. Have a good time at Seaside!

If all goes well this weekend we will turn the built launcher orders back on later next week, after we ship most of the present orders. Our goal here is to keep the delivery delay from getting over one month.  We’ll post a note here when the status changes. This page can be monitored using RSS feeds so you can get real-time notifications when new articles are posted.

Hamvention!

Monday, May 14th, 2007

We are preparing to travel to Dayton for the Hamvention. Hope to see you there! We will be at the FDIM Vendor Night, and we will be by (and in) the Buddipole booth at Hamvention from time to time.

We will have a CSV17 Launcher kit at FDIM, and that kit will be specially priced. First one to claim it gets the good price!!
