CSV19 Launcher

CSV19 Pneumatic Antenna Launcher

The CSV19 is 19 inches long, weighs about six pounds and uses a 4″ diameter PVC pressure chamber. It reaches up to about 200 feet in height and fits into a Rubbermaid(tm) 10 gallon Tote. The CSV19 is available in several configurations:

The CSV19 Basic Kit includes the parts for the Launcher. Assembly requires Epoxy, PVC Primer and Cement, and a few tools. See the instructions below for details:

  • 1 Pressure Chamber Forward Endcap (PVC, w/o hole)
  • 1 Pressure chamber pipe, (PVC)
  • 1 Pressure Chamber Rear Endcap (PVC, with hole)
  • 1 Valve inlet pipe (1″ short grey PVC, thick wall)
  • 1 Reinforcing ring (1″ PVC, fits over valve inlet pipe)
  • 1 Pneumatic valve, modified
  • 1 Brass elbow
  • 1 Trigger Valve assembly
  • 1 Valve outlet Pipe (1″ short white PVC)
  • 1 Bushing (1.25″ PVC, valve to elbow)
  • 1 Elbow, lower (1.25″ PVC)
  • 1 Elbow coupler pipe (1.25″ PVC)
  • 1 Elbow, upper (1.25″ PVC, round end fits into Barrel Endcap)
  • 1 Barrel Endap (2.5″ PVC, w hole)
  • 1 Tennis Ball Barrel (2.5″ PVC)
  • 1 Launcher Label
  • 1 Fill valve (brass tire valve)
  • 1 Pressure gauge

The CSV19 Super and Super-Zip Kits include the Basic parts above plus Pre-epoxied valve top, Loop Kit for five Tennis balls with Safety Ball Holder, Ramrod, Pressure Safety Relief valve and tap for tapping the holes into the pressure chamber, plus the barrel-chamber spacer and strap:

  • 1 Pre-epoxied valve top
  • 1 Tennis Ball Holding Tool
  • 1 Tennis Ball Loop Kit (loop material for 5 balls)
  • 1 Ramrod Handle
  • 1 Ramrod End
  • 1 Pressure Safety Relief Valve
  • 1 Tap for Pressure Gauge, Fill Valve and Pressure Relief Valve
  • 1 Barrel-Chamber Spacer w/ 2 small squares foam tape
  • 1 Large Cable Tie

The CSV19 Super Kit also includes (depending on reel selection):

  • 1 Reel Mount Collar       
  • 1 Strip Double Sticky Tape 
  • 2 Large Hose Clamps        

The CSV19 Super-Zip Kit also includes:

  • 1 Zip Reel w/ line

CSV19 Assembly Service

The CSV19 Assembly Service is provided for those who prefer that we assemble the launcher. This option is available on the various Super Kits. It must be purchased at the same time as the kit, and is a separately purchased option. In this case we consume the Epoxy and we drill and tap the holes so we do not supply the tap. The other components of the Super Kits (such as prepared tennis balls, ramrod, etc) are included with the shipment. Building adds up to two weeks to the order preparation process.
