CSV17 - The CSV17 Pneumatic Antenna Launcher is the compact 17 inch long model. It has two inches less barrel and a one inch smaller diameter chamber. This results in a more compact launcher which has 80% of the performance of the larger 19 inch model, reaching in excess of 150 feet in line launching trajectory. The pressure chamber has been optimized for use with a smaller volume of compressed gas, allowing more efficient use of air and better compatibility with the small 12 gram CO2 cartridges. The CSV17 is designed to fit in a standard 18 inch tool case to provide enhanced portability for field applications.
SUPER - The Super option on a kit inclues a Pressure Safety Valve, a ramrod, the epoxy, the tap for the gauge, filler and safety valve plus a launch ball preparation kit including a safety ball holder and five launch ball loops and crimp tubes.
ZIP - This set includes a Zip Reel. The Zip Reel comes pre-assembled with an easily removable barrel mounting system and pre-loaded with 150 yards of Spectra type launch line. The Zip Reel has clever line holding fingers to release the line on launch, controlling the line and avoiding tangles. The large diameter of the Zip Reel (nearly two feet) allows it to feed line with minimum friction and allows the launch ball to reach maximum height. (The Zip Reel is manufactured by Saunders Archery. The mounting system is designed by Eric WD6CMU.)
KIT - Launcher kits include the parts for building the launcher. They have been cut and machined. Some minor preparation such as washing and/or sanding is required prior to assembling. PVC primer and cement is used to attach the parts, and Epoxy is used in a few cases to fill small holes, and optionally to provide extra support. Drilling and tapping is required for installing the gauge and fill fittings. See the Launcher Manual for instructions. NOTE - the Launcher Assembly Instructions are online. Please review them and make sure you are prepared to build the kit before ordering.
