CSV17 - The CSV17 Pneumatic Antenna Launcher is the compact 17 inch long model. It has two inches less barrel and a one inch smaller diameter chamber compared to the CSV19. This results in a more compact launcher which has a bit less performance than the larger 19 inch model, still reaching in excess of 130 feet in line launching trajectory. The pressure chamber has been optimized for use with a smaller volume of compressed gas, allowing more efficient use of air and better compatibility with a good launch using just one small 12 gram CO2 cartridge. The CSV17 is designed to fit in a standard 18 inch tool case to provide enhanced portability for field applications. The CSV17 is more than adequate for the majority of Antenna Launching applications.
SUPER ZIP - The Super Zip option on a pre-assembled launcher includes a Pressure Safety Valve, a ramrod, three prepared launch balls and a Zip Reel.
ZIP - This set includes a Zip Reel. The Zip Reel comes pre-assembled with an easily removable barrel mounting system and pre-loaded with 125 yards of Spectra type launch line. The Zip Reel has clever line holding fingers to release the line on launch, controlling the line and avoiding tangles. The large circumference of the Zip Reel (nearly two feet) allows it to feed line with minimum friction and allows the launch ball to reach maximum height. (Note - the Zip option superceeds the Fishing Reel Mount.) (The Zip Reel is manufactured by Saunders Archery. The mounting system is designed and built by Eric WD6CMU.)
PRE-ASSEMBLED - This launcher comes pre-assembled and tested. We have painted the barrel and done the glueing, drilling and tapping so the launcher is ready to use (some minor disassembly for shipment may require reassembly before use).
NOTE - Pre-assembly is a custom request and adds several weeks to the preparation time.
