Pressure Safety Valve Cleaning
Procedure
- Measure the threads showing above the nut on the top of the safety valve and note this dimension for reassembly
- Loosen the nut holding the top slightly
- Unscrew the threaded upper section
- Note the orientation of the parts as they are removed
- Clean the valve seat - The valve seat is in the bottom, the ball is the seal
- Reassemble Loosely
- Adjust
- Tighten
- Test
