Pressure Safety Valve Adjustment
The standard pressure safety valves supplied with the super kit or assembled launchers come preset from the factory for 100 psi. Occasionally they seem to be slightly too sensitive. They can be adjusted slightly by changing the position of the upper threaded barrel that applies spring pressure to the ball valve. If a higher pressure than 100 psi is desired a different safety valve must be purchased. NEVER EXCEED 150 psi in the launcher as the Main Valve is only rated to operate up to 150 psi!!!
Procedure
- Measure threads showing at top of Safety Valve and note for future reference
- Loosen upper nut on top of Safety Valve
- Turn threaded upper section IN for higher (OUT for lower) pressure about 1/2 to 1 turn
- Tighten upper nut
- Retest Pressure Relief
