Was a lot of fun this year. We used the CSV17 to put up a number of antennas. One was a quadruple extended double ended Zepp, nearly 400 feet long. It was about 90 feet up. Just below one end of that antenna was a Spiderbeam support line, and the beam was riding calmly in the breeze at about 50 feet. That breeze got pretty nasty one night, testing the tents — some of which were not up to it.
Between the two antennas, and a couple of others we racked up about a thousand contacts, which is not bad for the band conditions and number of hours we operated.
At any rate we are back and ramping up production again on launchers. A fistfull of orders popped in after FD and we’re making parts to catch back up.
Thanks for your support!!

The last orders for Field Day are out, in the hands of UPS. We are preparing for our own Field Day trip (using callsign W6PS) and will suspend shipping until about July 1. Assembled Launcher orders will also be reopened at that time.
Safe Launching!!
Thanks and 73

The previous two weekends we were away, so progress was significantly slowed. This weekend I spent just about the whole time in the shop and made a lot of PVC dust. Half a dozen orders went out, but many more parts were made. Next weekend will also be a good production weekend, and we should be just about caught up after that.
I had a phonecall today while I was in the noisy cafeteria for lunch. Someone wanted to talk to me but they didn’t leave a number and by the time I knew the cellphone was ringing they had hung up. It is best to exchange some email with me so we can choose a time for our phonecall. If a message is left I could return the call, or if caller id was available, but this caller left no way to return their call, and no email.

We’re extending the In Time For Field Day kit order window through May 5th to allow the Emcomm Hamfest folks a chance to order for pre-Field Day delivery.
Orders placed after May 5th will not be guaranteed to arrive in time for Field Day. We may stop taking orders for a short time so we can catch up.
Thanks for your support!

Is this weekend, and we will be there. We will have a presentation Saturday morning and will be at either the Cookie Lee or the Buddipole booth much of the rest of the time. Hope to see you there!
