Assembly Tips, Tricks and Questions

A few months ago I got a new Shop Vacuum. It is a lot more powerful than the very old one I was using, and it immediately struck me that it would be a good tool to clean out the pressure chamber after drilling and tapping the holes into the tank. The bits of PVC from drilling and mostly tapping must be removed from the inside of the pressure chamber or they will find their way into the main valve and make it leak. Ordinarily I used compressed air, but that is not always effective as the dust gets going in circles inside the chamber and has trouble making it out the holes. The vacuum seems to do a better job, especially if the tank is moved and the vacuumed holes are placed toward the bottom where gravity can help out.

Other suggestions?
