Barrel Material, Field Day Orders

Barrel Material is now in.

Field Day Orders should be placed now. Time is getting short to allow for preparation and shipment of Field Day orders. Ordering will be shut down sometime during the evening of Wednesday May 7th, and reopened July first.

Recent travels and tax preparations have slowed shipments slightly, and a temporary shortage of barrel material caused us to put barrels out of stock. New barrel material should be in shortly, and production will ramp up again.

Trigger Strut

Recently we have been testing a new trigger strut. This simple upgrade to the CSV launchers prevents the trigger from moving on the threads. In the distant past we used to glue these threads, but that did not always work and it made service difficult. Recently we have recommended using teflon tape in the threads which works well but does not provide firm support for the trigger, so it may move. The new aluminum strut goes from the rear of the barrel to the top of the trigger and solves this problem.

The website move appears to have gone well. In addition there was a short site outage Monday morning when the renewal had a problem with out of date information. This was fixed as quickly as we knew about it.

This weekend we had a big packing party and prepared a lot of boxes for UPS. Set a new record for one weekend.
