Product Information

The Zip Replacement Spool (shown here in red) is designed to replace broken Zip Reel spools. This 3D printed spool connects to Eric's Zip Reel Core using his provided hardware, or the Replacement Core as shown here. It has a launch line capacity of about 550 yards and the same line holder as our Coaxial Reels. Includes 125 yards Launch Line (on separate spool). We don't keep this in stock but can make when needed. Zip Reel is a trademark of Saunders Archery, who unfortunately no longer makes them. The Zip Replacement Core (shown here in blue and white) is also available, as a separate catalog item. This catalog item is just the outer Spool Ring and Launch Line Refill and does not include the core. Note that if the line is wrapped behind the line holder during launching it will snap. The line must be only lightly retained in the front side of the holder for it to be able to pull free when launching.
