I made another trip to HF, and still they have no more Air Dusters. I suspect that’s it for them. One reader forwarded a link to a supplier in Taiwan, and I found many more when looking in that direction. However, due to their recent earthquake, most of the websites are offline right now. We have been expecting a break in this supply, and so we have inventory to last while we figure out how to import them ourselves, if that works out. Thanks for the tip, Myron.

The new PVC parts are both good and not so good news. The new elbows look excellent, though I should test them before certainty. The new endcaps are functional but not as aesthetic. We’re waiting for the rest to show up.

Safe Launching!

The order queue is now empty, and in a few days we will adjust pricing a little for the increases that we have been absorbing. Some parts may be changing as well, due to shifting brands at the suppliers. Performance should not suffer, but the look may change slightly as different makers of PVC parts use different molds.

One part that we’re concerned about is the trigger valve. It is Harbor Freight 42939, and it may be going away. The replacement is not as good for our use. If you have a Harbor Freight store nearby you might check and see if they have a bunch of these left and let us know - we may need to stock up. Drop us an email via sales at akbeng.com.
